Jazz has not been seriously introduced to cattle work, but has the temperament, sensitivity and movement be a competitive ranch horse. Consistently ridden by his first and only owner on the trail and in the arena, this professionally-started and level headed horse handles water crossings and obstacles with no issues, and has been frequently camped with and ridden in different environments, weather and terrains, both in groups and alone. Jazz ground ties, loads, clips, cross ties, stands quietly at the mounting block and for the farrier, and enjoys his baths. He has big, forward, correct movement with three solid straight gates and is well behaved on the ground, in the stable or turnout, and under saddle.
