He has put in countless numbers of hours doctoring cattle and dragging calves to fire. In his younger years he was started in a feedlot where there is no rest from sun up till sunset. Putting it mildly he has worked HARD his entire life and is as broke as you will ever throw your leg over a real working horse! Since then he has been roped off of both ends heading and heeling, shown in open ranch horse classes, countless trail rides, grand entries, safe mount for children of ALL AGES, kids with disabilities have ridden him, ponies colts, drug wild cows, queens contests, flys the flag, 150% TRAFFIC SAFE…..we have found NOTHING that spooks Pete. He can be ridden with a string around his neck bareback. He is the SAME horse EVERYDAY!!!! Easy to catch, groom, load, haul, farrier, great with other horses. No buddy or barn issues. He ground ties and stands still to mount by block or on the ground. Pete has NEVER bucked, bolted, reared or set back!!!! He has all the ground manners you could ever ask for.
