Summer is an 8-year-old mare with all the right training and experience to take you either on the trails or in the show pen. She has very good ground manners, easy to catch, ties, loads, bathes, no kick or bite, sound. We have had Summer since she was 3 years old and have done all the training on her. She would keep excelling in the backcountry on the trails & backcountry trips or take her into the arena for Ranch Riding or Roping competition. She necks reins, sidepassses, pivots, open gates and has been started on lead changes. Overall, she is a very solid built horse with excellent breeding & color if you ever wanted to breed her down the road. She gets along with other horses in a herd (not too marish), easy keeper, quick learner. Hobble broke, she is our main picket mare in the backcountry, crosses water, side passes, pivots, travels through brush and downed timber in big country. She is used to electric fence, tarps, dragging logs, ponying other horses or mules. You can ride her bareback with a halter, wears shoes in the summer and fall when being used, and then turned out to pasture barefoot. Current on Coggins, vaccines, and worming. Summer has mostly been ridden on the trails, packs anything including meat & horns & boxes. She has also been around cows.
