Mercedes is a solid all around horse. I’ve done a little bit of everything on her - started on the barrels, moving cattle, roping the dummy, carried flags, trail riding, ponied colts, pleasure riding. She’s level headed and ready to work. Easy to catch, great to haul, good for the farrier, stands tied, hobbles, can be thrown out to pasture or put in a stall. She’s blanketed during the winter. Easy keeper. You could throw her out for months and she will ride off like she’s never missed a day. She has all the buttons. Side passes, counter arcs, nice collection, big stop, neck reins, rollbacks, I could go on and on. Extremely responsive to leg pressure, if you ask her to go somewhere she’s already there. She has a ton of heart and grit, loves to work. NOT MAREISH. Her temperament matches perfectly with her looks - STUNNING. She will get you noticed anywhere you go. The amount of compliments I’ve gotten on this mare is almost overwhelming. I do not recommend her for a beginner, she will Buffalo you if she knows she can get away with it.
