UPDATE: Bandit has been in regular arena work and doing great! trotting and cantering jumps moving forward! Doing lots of jumping in a good canter. Videos available!
He is a cute mover for the hunters.
Bandit an attention seeking, curious boy. Lazy slow walker in the arena but will WTC and jump cross rails and small verticals. Has a floaty trot for hack class. But, he would rather spectate and stand around. He has done some gymnastic work in the spring but has been at camp walking around with campers (and he had a couple of campers that did like the challenge of making him move) and going in the lake WHICH HE LOVES! Lots of splashing in the water!
He did a lot of trail riding and foxhunting this past winter in 2nd and 1st field. Has more pep on the trails but can be a slow walker.
Do not hold him with tight reins- he will not go forward!
He is barefoot now but had shoes for hunting.
He's solid and can carry a larger person. Not for a beginner- he needs a lot of leg.
