Celeste (JC “Well Not So Much”) is a 2010, 16.3 flea-bitten grey TB mare; sire is Two Punch. Never raced. She has shown up to the 3’3” hunters, had some experience with eventing (schooling only) and with me has started her career in dressage. She is currently working on training level and some first level movements. She needs and will only be sold to an experienced rider as she is a quirky, athletic and forward ride. She can have opinions and gets anxious at times so she needs a confident leader who can guide and reassure her. She has been at the same property and trainer for the past two years, with mainly arena work and some trail rides. She’s easy to load/unload on the trailer, will stand in the crossties quietly, and loves to be fussed over and snuggled. She gets regular chiro and has all four shoes since she’s in active work. She is good for the farrier and vet and has not offered a buck/rear with me. I’d love for her to have her next home be one with regular, daily turnout and have a rider who has a skillset in groundwork as well; she did liberty clinics with me and really excelled in them. The reason I am selling is I’d like to get back to jumping and eventing, and that is something she prefers not to continue at this point. With that being said, she is being offered up for flatwork only; I will not sell her to a home that intends to jump her. I’d love for her next owner to keep in touch with me and I will retain right of first refusal on her. She deserves a good home where she can continue to grow and build on the foundation we’ve started. Mid-fours. Message me for videos.
