Buddy has a very sweet personality. He is an extrovert so you know exactly what he’s thinking. Very smart. I do ground work on a regular basis. Buddy has a fabulous gait and is a forward mover. He has a soft mouth. He has never balked when asked to lead on the trail and he is not a spooky horse. He will also ride in the middle or rear. He has not had any health issues. He is black skinned so no sunburn issues and nice black hooves. He stands quietly for the farrier and for tacking. Stands at the mounting block for mounting and dismounting. Loads in a slant load trailer with a ramp. All you need to do is point and he loads. Quietly and slowly backs out of the trailer. Teeth floated every other year. Dewormed on a regular schedule. Spring and fall vaccinations given. Coggins test done yearly. Will camp in either an electric portable fence or high line. On pasture, hay and Purina Strategy. I am selling him because I’m retiring from camping and riding.
