Versteeg is a very handsome tall leggy foal with good bone and muscling. He has loads of presence with a character that is second to none; he is the easiest foal to work with we have had to date - extremely willing, friendly, brave, curious, playful, and sweet... ridiculously charming! His gaits are superb - elastic, uphill, balanced, and animated. This cross should bring to the table high rideability suitable for both amateurs and professionals alike. This colt is a top dressage prospect and we are so extremely proud of him. ☺️
His dam is one of the last daughters of Glorioso Noir and brings to the table a concentration of the valuable G-line.
His sire, Vilancio, is a striking, first class stallion in an impressive dark chocolate chestnut coat. Always supple with an irresistible "look at me" factor. Vilancio possesses maximum balance in all three gaits, an attribute that he demonstrates under saddle. Vilancio completed his 30-day-test with the key aspect on dressage with a total score of 9.23 (interior 9.63, trot 9, canter 8.75, walk 10, conformation 10 and rideability 9.25). His breeding history is mostly in Sweden (Flyinge Stud), neverless he has 3 licensed sons.
