Ollie is a 10.5 year-old warm blood Appaloosa that is super flashy! Ollie has had a rough life and the primary use for him between ages four and seven was dressage and started on jumping.. when he was 8 his owner passed away so he was unhandled for about 2 1/2 years, except for Farrier and vet Care. I have had an Ollie for the recent 8 months, and I wanted him for a trail riding horse, but he’s too tall for me and I don’t trust him on the trails solo, and I don’t have a second horse that can lead. He is not used to loud noises. He does not load easily but rides in the trailer quietly. Ollie is easy to handle and Lead and respects human space. He stands great for ferrier! He doesn’t mind fly spray or shower time with a hose. He is actively being ridden three times a week under an english or Australian saddle. He’s current on teeth float 9/02, all four feet have shoes, vaccines, worming. He gets buddy sour and does better with a partner horse around in his view. If there are no horses in his view, he does tend to get very antsy and dancy. What he needs is a leader and someone he trusts that can guide him. He doesn’t need somebody who is particularly “experienced” since he is so gentle however, he does need leadership and also needs to build confidence again. Would be a great OHSET horse! He’s a smooth ride, would advance well in dressage. Started jumping several years ago I was told but nothing recent. Come meet Ollie today for a test ride. Bring your helmet! His price includes weight gain powder (he’s not an easy keeper!), new bag of alfalfa pellets, a week supply of trifecta for his transition, his winter blanket, rain coat, fly mask, lead rope, and 2 halters, along with his 5 point breastplate, and bridle with bit. Saddle that fits him available for sale (cheap) if interested. He’s had multiple vet checks and is healthy as a horse! He’s also had over 16 hours of recent training. I would consider a care lease or a lease-to-own contract with $2000 down.
