Cruise is a 2020 gelding with classic Morgan conformation, nice straight legs & great feet, and traditional virtues: strength, athletic ability, endurance, versatility, and temperament. He has very comfortable gaits, and style from some of the best known Morgan pedigrees: JMF in Alberta Canada, Brunk in Illinois, UVT & US Cavalry in Vermont, including these famous Morgan ancestors Beamington, Flyhawk and Senator Graham. Cruise has been handled daily since he was a wet colt so learned good ground manners. This Spring he received 90 days of great natural horsemanship training from a super trainer Jenn Marie LLC. Cruise understands many verbal cues including w/t/c, yields his haunches and shoulders and has all "the buttons" to progress in any equine discipline or skill. He has been hopped on and ridden bareback as well as through water without a problem. Cruise is very willing and wants to team with his person, so he's usually the first to greet you at the fence and easy to catch and saddle (Parelli Natural Performer saddle fits him like a glove.) He is a calm boy and an easy-keeper who does well on first cutting hay with only a hand full of alfalfa pellets in the winter. After only 60 days in training, Cruise was ridden at the Holland Extreme Trail course and did fantastic. He was brave and willing to try the many obstacles. He likes to work and has the foundation and agility to finish in any equine discipline/skill, so he could be your "forever equine" in the ring and/or on the trail.
