Armani is a goofy large bodied 17.2 5 year old Thoroughbred Gelding. He was too slow at the track and didn’t race. He has a puppy dog personality and will stand all day to be groomed and bathed. He single and cross ties. He loads and unloads on the trailer wonderfully. He is the same horse on and off property. He lunges nicely. He has no restrictions and has been over some small fences but nothing consistent. Armani is currently wtc under saddle in a pretty consistent frame. He has shown promise with natural lead changes, but they are not auto yet. He loves water and baths and is pretty easy going, I have no doubt he would enjoy hacking out of the arena more!
When Armani arrived at our farm in January of 2022, he had typical track TB feet and was just turned out for a while. He was slowly brought into work and seemed happy to plod along in the arena to learn new things. By August, he was bucking and biting and definitely telling us he wasn’t happy. Turns out, we have moderate kissing spine. He received immediate injections and had two months off and came back into work sound and happy. He has been maintained since then with back injections every 11 months and they have proved to be extremely successful for him. Armani is looking for his person to spend time with!
