Oakie Been there, done that 11 year old Grade QH gelding standing 14.1 hands.
Oakie would be suitable for any level rider! No funny business in him. He will trail ride, rope, pony other horses and everything in between.
He is stocky built and a very easy keeper.
Oakie loads and unloads easily. He stands quietly for the farrier and bathes easily.
Will ride Bridle-less. Works off leg pressure. Neck reins.
Oakie will ride alone or in a group – front, middle or back, he does not mind.
Cross ties and single ties.
Oakie is the same whether he’s been sitting or worked every day.
He’s sure-footed and ready to go in any direction you point him!
He’s been trail ridden, used for ranch work, been exposed to sirens, carried a flag and shot a gun off of him. Absolutely nothing bothers him!
If you want something that you can count on being the same every day, Oakie is your man!
He is gentle and patient enough to carry even the smallest, beginner riders.
He will stand for mounting and walks on a loose rein. I can’t say enough good things about this gelding.
