Archie is a once in a lifetime horse; with his sweet disposition, puppy dog personality, quiet temperament and a high drive to please, he makes the perfect trustworthy steed for any adventure you might want to take him on. Not to mention that he’s simply stunning and registered! https://youtu.be/tBm6aIe8bMk He has had a very well rounded education in Western, English, driving and tons of miles on the trail. If you are looking for a confident mount that you can trust out on the trail solo, drive in your neighborhood as a single or a pair, ride in the local show, take to a parade, ride on a cattle drive, he can do it all, and more! Archie is sensitive and loves to please (you can ride with spurs but they are not needed), he likes a soft hand as well. He’s the type of horse that you can ride in from a 40 acre pasture is just a halter and Bareback while leaving the rest of the herd. Some of the fun things that Archie will do are: side pass to the mounting block, lie down and sit like a dog! Things that don’t bother Archie include: low flying helicopter, riding grass mower, power tools, bicycles, running hopping screaming happy kids, the crying ones too ;-) , helium balloons, leaf blower, barking dogs, and it goes on and on… He has extensive miles on trail, goes over obstacles at ease ( including teeter totters and mobile bridges), crosses water, opens and closes gates, carries the flag, rides bridle-less, is traffic safe, rides with the tarp, and he’s game for any other silly things you might want to throw at him! See the video! Rides the same with time off, even months! Archie is SAFE, I’ve even ridden him till the last week of pregnancy! Archie has excellent ground manners, ties & cross ties, loads, stands for the farrier, stands for mounting, heck, he’ll even stands for saddling or bathing totally free of halter ( see video)!! I’ve owned Archie since he was 2 and he has always been lovely and easy to work with. He will greet you at the gate and come to you in the pasture, every time! My daughter loves leading, brushing and riding him* Archie’s favorite seasons are spring and fall, in the summer I ride him either in the first part morning or late afternoon and usually gets a hose down after. For the winter, you can, either body clip him or you can let him cool down in your barn. Archie has lived in very large pastures - 40 acres, he has also lived in stall with a run attached, but he always had daily turn out to a big pasture with up to 12 horses. Archie greets you at the gate or comes to your in the pasture when he sees you! He likes all people but he seeks a deep connection with his person; right now he loves me ( and I love him), he could love you!! I would like for Archie to find the perfect forever partner, he truly deserves it, I would prefer a solid rider as he doesn’t like ( nor deserves) to be yanked in the mouth or kicked- no he won’t buck but he doesn’t ride like a
