Royce” is a 15.2hh, 15yr old, Appendix QH gelding. This boy is an all in one package!! Unflappable, quiet, sweet, and easy, all around guy right here. In the barn, Royce has no bad habits. He can live in or out, alone and with a mixed herd. He is easy to catch and has good ground manners. Royce stands on the cross ties to be groomed, bathed, tacked, etc. On the trails, Royce is slow and easy. Absolutely anyone can ride him, throw your kids, husband, grandma on him. He crosses water, logs, rocks, and other obstacles. He is not spooky and goes where he is asked. Royce loads, and trailer well. Royce rides western, english, and bareback. He neck reins, pivots, side passes, moves off of leg, backs up, and he is over all soft in your hands. His gaits are smooth and easy. Ask him to collect or ride on the buckle, he will go around the same either way. Royce is easy and slow enough for a beginner to ride in the ring, yet knows enough and has enough go to entertain an advanced rider. This boy loves to jump, he will jump a full course with a lead change. We have also popped over cross country jumps and he loved it! Royce has done a little bit of everything, ranch work, trails, jumping, lessons, you name it. He is a horse that could go any direction and will do the job that is asked of him.
