“Tilly” is a grade, 10 year-old paint mare, 14.2HH, up to date on vaccines and have negative Coggins in hand.
Tilly will greet you with a sweet whinny whenever you come out to see her, she's a kind mare that enjoys having a job, exposure to new things, and of course loves being groomed. Quiet & responsive on the lunge line. She's soft to the vertical & lateral flexion. Has a collected walk, jog, lope & woah - just working on getting her slowed down at each gate. Backs, side passes, haunch turns & forehand turns both ways. Excellent, with a little bit of curiosity on the trail, will go wherever you want her to go - with purpose! I've ridden her through thick trees, in the dark, over a bridge, exposed her to cows & none of that has bothered her. She stands fairly decent for the farrier, can sometimes argue just a little - but nothing a good farrier can't handle! Would stand tied all day for you if needed, bathes, draped a tarp over her and lunged her over it with no issues. She's a sweetheart of a mare who needs an intermediate to advanced rider to continue to stay consistent & soft with her.
