I’ve gone back-and-forth with the decision of selling Heidi. Heidi is definitely a part of my family and it weighs great on my heart to have to say goodbye. This horse is a beautiful Percheron cross that is very reliable. She is currently in a dressage program where she gets lessons once a week. Her favorite activity to do is riding the trail system and would be best suited with a person looking for doing the same. She can be ridden on any trail alone or with a group. To get to my trail system I have to ride on the shoulder of a busy road and she does great, I have always wanted to ride her in a parade, but I’ve never gotten a chance. Heidi also can be ridden in a halter and a bareback pad, and that is often what I ride her in. In the arena she has more woah than go, I have put many friends who are beginner riders on her in the ring and she does well. She can walk, trot, and canter on verbal command. She is a big girl and is looking for a confident beginner rider who is in a program but prefers an intermediate rider looking to just hit the trails. Like many draft horses Heidi has a sugar intolerance and cannot live in a grassy pasture. Serious inquiries only. FaceTime call required before I’m allowed to bring you to our barn.
