Latte is a 13 year old palomino paint mare that needs a new home where she can be the barrel horse she wants to be. I would love for her to be a little girls rodeo mount,, as she is super safe and loves her job.. She consistently ran 2D times with an experienced rider, and 3d times with less experienced riders. While she loves to go, she is more of a push ride and would benefit from a more confident rider. She is safe but not a complete deadhead, and likes to go, so not well suited for a true beginner. Could be good for an intermediate rider with a coach.. Latte has not been run much (other than is small local stuff or at home) recently due to my work obligations, and has been used as a lesson horse for my experienced students. She trail rides and can do small jumps or ranch work for fun. She is a pleasant mare in the pasture or stalled, never mare-ish or ugly under saddle. She is forward, but no buck, rear, or bite, loads great, trailers well, and has no vices otherwise. She does need maintenance as most barrel horses do: she is on equioxx currently as well as a joint and hoof supplement, and would benefit from hock injections as well if she is to be run regularly. Wears front shoes, but goes barefoot in the winter alright. Her maintenance is totally worth it, especially if she is able to get you in the money. I just have way too many beginner riders and need to make room. I will answer any questions and help in any way possible, even after the sale. I love her dearly, and I want her to go to a home where she can do what she really wants to do. Her price is negotiable (within reason) for the perfect home, and she doesn't have to go so I will be selective. She has never been bred.
