Scotch is sweet, silly, loving & in your pocket 16.1 hands, sturdy & stout! Everything you need to know is in his 11 video, he is very Low Maintenance, easy to love & show! Normal shoes on fronts & can be barefoot on back but while showing I normally keep shoes on all around! He is a barn favorite for sure! He is loved by all who have rode him! (& that's been many!) He has been to Pinto World with previous owner who was in her later 60's, he's been rode by 50 year olds, 13,16,18 and trainers of all ages. He is awsome at his back, has a smooth simple lead change, trot is smooth, & he reaches deep with hocks. He has a natural low head set, is spur broke & leg controlled! So fun to lope fast circle, sit back slightly, squeeze a bit, feel him come back to slow lope!
He excels at English Pleasure, Showmanship, Ideal Pinto, Equitation, & can hold his own in Western, Halter & Trail. Don't let his age fool you, he has many years left in him, has low maintenance, (inject hocks & he get's Equioxx daily) Cheap maintenance plan! He is easily maintained at home when riding 3-5 days a week. Don't let this time of year STOP you from buying, as he is in great shape right now and you can continue to ride & work him getting to know him through out the winter, which means you will be ready for 2024 Show season. He has done really good at Pinto shows and I do a lot of competitive bigger Open shows along with some smaller ones & some fairs. He is great for the farrier, vet, chiro, massage theripist, theraplate, bathing, body clipping, banding, saddling, cross tieing, trailering, (loads & unloads like a dream) And bonus, he carries a flag & isn't affraid of cattle! He's safe, sane, not spooky & could also do the walk trot. For the amount of training he has had in his 17 years, he is well worth it. Show horses that can show inside & outside in rain or mud and that also are good on the trails are worth their weight in Gold! Especially right now.
If he is kept with a trainer he will do EVEN better! When showing, NO ear plugs needed!
Because of his white color & pink skin he wears a full fly sheet, mask & fly boots all summer.
