Blue is one of the friendliest horses that you will find! He loves attention, does the liberty work, loves to be at your side and will follow you around at liberty. He is trained to lay down and sit on command. Blue has been with us since the winter of 2022 and has completed our natural horsemanship program. We have had him trail riding in several states from Missouri to Virginia. He handles all terrains on the trails, from steep slopes to rough, rocky areas, Blue has safely carried my daughters through some rough spots! In addition to the kids trail riding him, we have used him around the ranch for various task from herding to sorting, pasture roping and doctoring. We have also used him at the stockyards penning cattle and we have him started on tracking the roping dummy. Blue is a super gentle, laid-back type of horse that is gentle enough for any level of rider! He has a smooth jog, takes his leads in a nice lope, has a good stop, sidepasses to open/shut gates and backs with ease. Blue has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey and dogs as well. Blue is the same horse whether ridden daily or even if he is left in the pasture for an extended period of time. He has been the horse that we tack up and toss our 5-year-old on and send her off to ride and have fun with no worries! He has no vices; we trust him 100% and we feel like he will be the perfect addition to anyone’s family!
