MOTIVATED SELLER! "Gavilan MEC" is a show stopper to see in the ring and is currently schooling 3rd/4th level. He has shown up to 3-1 with scores in the 60s and now has changes, canter pirouettes, and working on piaffe that was started in Spain before importing here a year ago. I have the video from when I purchased him showing much of this but he has improved a lot with training here. He has very expressive with movements, light in the contact, and very comfortable gaits. Gavilan is a big strong and powerful horse but with a very funny and charming personality who loves attention/ grooming and still acts like a young horse who wants to play! He is loaded with potential and no reason why he could not go to Grand Prix with time and training!

His grand sire “Grandioso” with Jose Daniel Martin Dockx who has been his rider for more than five years competed for the Spanish team at the Olympics in London in 2012, the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy and the European Championships in 2013 and 2014. “Dani” and Grandioso scored 71.014 per cent for the team. Dani and Grandioso was one of only seven combinations competing in Rio that had been in the London Games in 2012.
