Bancos is a 6 year old micro chipped mustang off of the Carson national forest. He is 6 years old. I have packed him in the mountains, I have attended a cattle sorting clinic, and competed in natrc (competitive trail ride) Bancos rides alone or in groups. He also will ride anywhere in a group. He is solid and being "left" by other horses has little effect on him. He has an easy going nature. I have ridden him in the San juan mountains of Colorado where he has to share the trail with hikers galore, backpackers, mountain bikers, and side by sides. He crosses water, bridges anything in those mountains; he's probably done. I have camped out with him A LOT! He is perfect on a highline. He can be hobbled out to graze in a meadow. He stands calmly at a trailer. Will get in any trailer! Gets along with any other horse in the field or on the trail Also perfect for farrier. I competed last october in natrc event (competitive trailride) in the open division. This year he went cp for more competitors. He just competed in Wyoming coming in 2nd place. It's a competition that covers 18+ miles with obstacles and there's 2 judges. He also does arena work. He is supple, turns on hindquarters, forehand, side passes. His transitions are fluid. Knows his leads. Easily can go from a gallop and be brought right back down. At his young age he has so many years for you to enjoy him! With his coloring and his animated gait, he gets noticed! Utd on wormings, teeth, Coggins, and vaccinations, and shoes! The video I have created shows his personality and his accomplishments. Please contact me for any further questions. If video is not playing here please look up bancos bandit on you tube. It shows his arena work, groundwork, mountain work and competition. https://youtu.be/TO00zS_JZho?feature=shared
