Born July 25th, Connor arrived much earlier than expected at 316 days and had us quite worried when mom went into labor, but that worry went away rather quickly! This colt is tall, strong, and oh my the confidence 🤣 I'm not sure we've had many this well balanced and active so soon. He spends most of his outside time at a canter or with all four hooves in the air.

Connor is by Irish imported Connemara stallion, Menlo Poetic Lad aka Laddie. Laddie is by Blakehill Sparrow, a son of Cnocban Casanova (I love You Melody X Beatrice) and Gloves Doreen (Coosheen Stormboy X Gloves Misty Queen)
and out of Kinamara Poetic Lady, a daughter of the famous Poetic Kelly, a 1.25m jumper (Peotic Justic X Lofty Dusty Rambler) and Killaloe Cailin Bui (Templebready fear bui X Killaloe Angel)
Laddie is one of the easiest and most intelligent stallions to have around. He loves to please and is always focused on his handler, we cannot wait to get him going under saddle next year and eventually put to use his incredible jumping bloodlines. Currently standing 14.2h and growing with solid bone and correct build.

Not only is his dad spectacular, but his mom is our stunning main thoroughbred mare, Farasi. This girl didn't come with her pedigree when we aquired her as a yearling, but she quickly proved to us that papers do not make a horse. Her foals to date have been some of the best in our program and have gone on to be fabulous eventers and broodmares. Though her oldest is only 6yrs old he has proven to have the best mind and athleticism. We expect Connor to be no different. Farasi stands 15.2h, but wow does she have depth and bone to make up for it. Probably one of the more stout and definitely easiest keeping TBs that we have come across.

We expect Connor to mature around 15-15.1h and will be ACPS registered amd gelded. This guy will be looking for a dressage and or Eventing home once weaned in January
