"Chance" is a very talented and personable horse who is just not getting used and we have made the very difficult decision to sell him to someone who has more time than us to give him the attention he deserves! He is a very well trained, well bred, natural moving horse who could be competitive at any level! He has been shown everywhere from AQHA shows to WSCA and 4H fun shows where he has earned AQHA points, High Point Championships, Midstate WSCA high points and misc awards. He excels in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, and Showmanship but can and has done English as well. Chance is sound, an easy keeper with no maintenance required (has never been injected), and is currently barefoot (although he has been shod when being shown regularly and would possibly need shoes for hard surfaces). Chance would make a great all-rounder and is just a really fun horse to do anything with although he is not a speed horse and going slow is his preference! He ties great but also stands/ ground ties for everything (grooming, tacking, vet, farrier, baths, fly spray, clipping, etc) and his ground manners are exceptional. He also loads great and trailers quietly. He has all the fancy buttons and is an excellent horsemanship / pattern horse but needs an experienced rider who is able to ride a finished horse or is working with a trainer who can help them learn his cues and buttons. He has done bridle-less work, has been roped off of, trail ridden, ridden bareback, english, etc! He is not barn or buddy sour and is more than happy to be left alone at the trailer or in the barn alone as long as he has a hay bag in front of him or a human entertaining him! I cannot stress the amazing personality this horse has. He loves people and doesn't have a mean bone in his body so we will be VERY picky about where he goes! No worries about catching him since he will follow you everywhere and loves attention! Chance really loves to please, has great curiosity, and knows fun tricks like smiling on cue. He is very trainable and has a lot of natural horsemanship training as well. Chance is a natural Western Pleasure moving horse who lopes around the pasture the same way he does in a class! Chance has very limited showing since we bought him but only due to us not having the time we thought to show and ride and this is the reason we're selling him. We thought we would get more into pleasure shows but are now prioritizing Barrel Racing over Pleasure. Because of this Chance doesn't get worked or hauled nearly enough and can be looky and emotional at shows. He is never naughty on purpose but gets anxious when at new places although he does quiet down later. Chance has never bucked, reared or bolted but can be spooky and nervous in new places so he just needs to be hauled and shown more frequently than what we did (which was usually 1 or 2 shows a year!). Again - we absolutely adore this horse and this was a huge decision to sell him so we will be super picky about where he goes.
