Meet Cooper! Registered name, TBW Streakofmagic.

Cooper is a flashy, 14 year old, registered quarter horse gelding that stands 15.2 hands tall.

Cooper has been ridden Western and English, but definitely prefers English. I am currently working him towards show jumping and he is doing very well. He is bold and confident over fences. He knows his leads and we are working towards flying lead changes. He is very soft in the bridle and not pushy. He has a good stop and back off and good ground manners.

I have ridden him out on the trails both English and Western. He does well alone and with others. However when ridden out with others he has a hard time thinking for himself and leaving the group or when the group leaves him but they are still within eyesight.

We have also played with some barrel racing and pole pending. He is staring to get the idea but we definitely aren’t winning anything yet.

My hope is to show him this summer at local jumping shows, possibly some barrel races and play-days. I would really like to see him go to someone that will use him in jumping or something else that he really enjoys. He is quiet and gentle but sensitive. He gets worried when he feels negative energy or if he thinks he is in trouble. He needs someone who will be understanding and patient with him. I have had to do a lot of retaining his thought process so that he doesn’t panic anytime I ask for something new or something he doesn’t fully understand.
