Wakons Navajo Kisses (or Sweet Baby Kisses as we benevolently call her) is a gorgeous jet black 2008 Foundation Appaloosa mare standing 15.1hh. She boasts a 100% FPD, which means she is as pure as of an Appaloosa that a person can find. She has no mottling and sports just a couple small white specks on her face and neck. She has a gorgeous mane, forelock, and tail, adding that much more to her absolute beauty. People often think she’s part Friesian! She loads/trailers without a second thought, she bathes, clips, hobbles, ties, etc. easily. Unfortunately, Kisses is chronically lame due to poor hoof conformation, requiring year-round corrective shoeing and pain management (bute, or other natural remedies), which also means she cannot be ridden. She is looking for a home that can provide a comfortable place for her to live out her days and would make a lovely horse companion and stunning pasture ornament. She has lived in herd settings most of her life with other horses, mules and cows. All in all, Kisses is a pretty laid-back mare. She can be testy/pushy at times, but does well with rules and boundaries in place. She LOVES LOVES LOVES humans. I am really hoping to find Kisses a new home where she will get lots of attention and the care she deserves. I am simply not in the financial position to be able to care for her while also up-keeping my other horses and must make this very difficult decision to let her go.
