Talk about being seen in a crowd, having the sweetest mare, most unique coloring and extremely athletic all in one package this is the one and did I mention a barn favorite.
“Bleu Cheese Dressing” Bleu is a 14 year old, registered Appaloosa, standing right around 15. 1hands. Talk about stunning and majestic. This girl is put together extremely well. She’s the perfect in between of sturdy and athletic. She has clean legs and amazing confirmation. She’s as pretty to look at as she is nice to be around. Bleu has tons of potential in any direction English or western. We know this girl will continue to do great things with her next rider.
In the ring, Bleu is straightforward and has a no funny business attitude. She enjoys having a job and is extremely willing to learn new tasks and at the same time happy to tote around a novice rider. She has a solid wtc both directions and very comfortable gaits. She has a big ground covering stride and pretty movement. Bleu always strives to please and has an amazing work ethic. She’s extremely adjustable, and moves off leg pressure. She has no buck rear or kick. She has tons of potential for the dressage arena, hunter/jumper arena, cross county/eventing, trail riding, obstacle courses and would be an awesome fox-hunting prospect. Jumping is absolutely one of her favorites and she takes no prep or pre schooling.
On the trail, Bleu has lots of miles and will happily go in the front or back of the pack. She’ll go on the buckle and be a relaxing ride or she can pick up and go for a hunter pace. She’s been on lots of trail rides and paper chases with us and is always tons of fun. This brave girl is the first one into the water, wether it be crossing the stream, or going for a swim in the lake. She loves to splash and have a good time with her person. She’s fun to pop over logs and coops on the trail and is always honest to the jump. She’s good in a group with greener horses riding up close to her and never gets upset. With more experience she would make a fantastic fox hunter. We can’t say enough good things about this special horse.
In the barn, bleu has no bad stall habits and is the same horse if you let her sit for a couple days or ride her every day. She picks up all four feet and is excellent for the farrier. She stands to groom and saddle up. She is a dream to bath and love on she never gets enough in her mind. She can go out in a mixed herd and generally will hang out alone. She never causes problems in the pasture and gets along with everyone. We've all fallen in love with Bleu and want the best possible home for her.
We are willing to help set up shipping anywhere within the United States and she’s a dream in the trailer so that is not one bit of an issue.
