Senior owner is looking for the perfect home for 'Portia Cayenne Afire'. She is a high-quality and exceptionally well-bred Mare. Wanting a dedicated partner that can use and appreciate her more. Was trained thru 2nd level dressage/schooling third, shown Halter, Hunter Pleasure+ before we purchased, plus evaluated on conformation and movement by international judges as a PSG National level horse when young. Portia appreciates soft hands and works off your seat with a rider that is balanced and in sync with her. Since we have had her, she has been handled/ridden by novice riders, young and old, with lessons and/or supervision, along with more experienced riders on their own, after they've shown that they can work independently. Portia is well behaved for grooming, tacking up, cleaning hooves (can hold her foot up with one finger), and is easy to trim. Can mount and dismount with or without a mounting block. She's an easy keeper, no extra maintenance, no supplements. Portia's healthy, athletic with fluid movement. She is gorgeous too. Though Purebred Arabian (Sweepstakes Nominated) we've had more than one person think Portia is a petite/refined warmblood. A dedicated rider that has time to spend with Portia will totally love her. She's a sweetheart that enjoys attention and is going to make someone a wonderful partner. Portia is excellent with vetting, injections, drawing blood, having dental, etc. She is all up to date on deworming, Flu/Tet, hoof trim, and dental October 5th. Gets along in the pasture with other horses or alone. Has great stall manners (stall is open to paddock where she can come and go as she pleases).
