Whiskey is an amazing TB 8 year old gelding that has much potential to go almost any direction. A racehorse that was retired, sound one year ago after earning over 165K. We were hoping that he would want to work with Veterans that have PTSD and high anxiety, but now we know he wants to have just one person to work with instead of many Veterans. I never make a horse do a job that they do not enjoy. We have trained Whiskey with Clinton Anderson's level one fundamentals, and he goes bareback, english, & western at the walk trot and canter. He is also ridden totally bridle less at the walk trot and canter in the arena, as well as a bit-less bridle and snaffle bridle. Whiskey is current on all vaccinations, farrier care. We have had him out on the Extreme Mountain Trail course going over bridges, cowboy curtain and other obstacles. He has been ridden out on the wooded trails also. He is a super smart horse that picks up new jobs very quickly. He has been free jumped and definitely potential for jumping and dressage. We had also worked him with a roping rope also. His current trainer is a dressage rider (Age 15) but she is also the 2022 Training Level Jr Reserve Champion and 3rd place 1st level USDF Region 6 Championships. I am looking for his next person who is a confident, and experienced rider to continue him in is new career. No rear or buck. Pre purchase exams at your expense.
