Tyson is a very levelheaded youngster! He’s by a Clydesdale stallion and out of a Canadian Sport Horse mare who also contains some draft, so he is definitely a more drafty crossbred, but he’ll still be light enough to be handy under saddle. He was born at the very end of 2021 so is just coming 2 at the end of this year (clearly a miscalculated attempt at a January foal!). He already stands a touch over 16.1 and should finish out over 17 hands. Tyson has a very friendly personality, like a dog in horse form- if a human is nearby, he has to say hello and get some attention! He was raised by a private breeder who makes sure all their babies are well-handled, so he has great leading and tying manners and is good with his feet, as well as being used to blanketing, fly spray, etc. He can live out or come into a stall, and he’s great with other horses- he’s more on the submissive side and is very tolerant of rambunctious playmates, but he can also be left alone in the field with no issue. He’ll be a nice addition for anyone looking for a handsome, sturdy young prospect…get the Clyde look without committing to the full-size package!
