Whiskey has been there done that got the ribbon kinda horse. He has been a wonderful confidence builder for my niece but she is ready to start one on her own. He is way too nice to sit in a field and not be used. He has a wonderful gait, disposition and the looks are just the topping. He has been trail ridden all over the west coast as well as middle Tennessee. He is a true mountain horse, steep rocks and rough terrain is nothing for him, super sure footed and careful. My niece has carried a flag with him, done parades, showed in lots of fun shows and just riding him alone around the farm. He will lead the pack or bring up the rear. Whiskey is use to riding with several dogs on the trail so has no issues with that. On the ground he is the first to meet you at the gate to be caught, stands in the crossties (trailer),clips, bathes and loads and backs out of the trailer easily. Whiskey is great staying on a picket line all week on a trail ride (he eats and drinks great too). He will also side up!!!!!!All you have to do is get on a truck, stump, mounting block or anything to help with elevation, put your hand up, snap and say up. He will bring the saddle to you. All that being said Whiskey is not a dead head, he will move out with the best of them and likes it. But if you want to ease around he is good with that too, he seems to mold to what is going on at the time. A GREAT home is a MUST and we would love to stay in touch as my niece is going to be devastated when he loads in someone’s trailer and pulls out this driveway. Someone is going to get an amazing horse, these ones do not come available often but here he is don’t miss out!! Whiskey is up to date on all worming, farrier work (great feet!!), teeth recently floated. No vices.
