Milo's owner left for college and he is looking for his new partner. This handsome guy has experience jumping, showing, has smooth gaits, and has spent the last two years doing natural horsemanship and minimal flatwork with his teen rider. USEF number is 5548554. Not appropriate for beginner riders. Price reduced, we'd like to find Milo his new home before winter. He needs some legging up and would do best in a program. Videos available upon request. Additional Information: Milo is a very sweet horse that loves his people, has good ground manners and is good for the vet and farrier. Is up to date with worming and vaccines and just had his teeth floated and sheath cleaned in September. Once he knows you, he will meet you at the gate and is happy to go for a ride. He has very nice gaits that are smooth and comfortable to ride. He was purchased in 2020 and the current owners family did not want to travel to try him, so was bought off video. He ended up being more horse for her than we hoped but they bonded and had a great relationship. She just did groundwork and walk/trot work for the past three years so he has had time off from canter work and any jumping. So right now he is priced as a project horse. He needs to be in a program with a professional or experienced rider to help support him in using his hind end and strengthening prior to jumping. He can get strong at the canter, but with work and strengthening, this will get better. Was showing in the 3'3" equitation when they purchased him. He has had no injuries or illnesses and has been sound since he's been here. His only maintenance has been chiro adjustments every 6-8 weeks. Has shoes all around, does better with hind shoes because he is so big (but has had them pulled during the winter). He is a great horse with lots of potential for half the price! Let me know if you have any questions!
