Stevie has been ranch raised in the hills where we have steep terrain. Grew up in a herd of horses. Gentle, easy to catch, friendly, mellow. Minimally handled but gentle to be around. Should be easy and straight forward to start in the right hands. Great prospect as a reined cow horse, ranch versatility, or as a ranch horse. Dam was/is used as a ranch horse and is the kind of mare who tries her heart out and can handle the chaos of ranch life. Dam was never shown (I don't care to show) but is by reining futurity champion stallion Ray Gay Quioxte and out of a Smart Chic Olena who was known for his excellence in the reining, cowhorse and cutting events. Stevie's sire won about $100k in open earnings as a reined cow horse.
