Captain is a dark bay 12 yo Morgan gelding standing 15 hh. If you’re looking for a good, solid well mannered and versatile horse - this is your boy. He has done it all; trails, Western, English, fox hunts, cattle work and is willing to please! I can’t say enough good things about this horse, you’ll have to come ride him to see for yourself. He self loads, stands tied quietly and for the farrier, lifts all 4 feet, no vices or health issues. He has been used in lesson programs in the past and for the last 2 months with us he has been ridden extensively on trails and in the ring a few times and has been wonderful. He prefers a pasture over a stall and loves trails but will ride in a ring. Beginners can ride this horse with ease. I have had guests ride him with no prior experience and we had a beginner take him on the 18 mile CSVFD 11th annual trail ride and he crossed everything from creeks and roads, passed fire trucks and cars, wildlife, etc and did not spook a single time. This guy is bombproof and beginner safe so come take him for a ride at our farm!
