I've been back and forth with this for a long time but need to do what's best for her. Thea is a ottb, she is an absolute sweetheart and will bond with her rider quickly. She was pulled from the track due to a bowed tendon. We did extensive rehab and she fully healed and has no limits per vet, however we have not pushed her. She stated showing crosspoles and trail riding. She was so calm and behaves a child could ride her off the track. She stands at 16 hands. Two summers ago she had a freak accident, we actually have no idea how it happened but she came into the field with a ruptured eye, after many tests and medications it was determined She detached her retina and is completely blind in her right eye. She still has both eyes, but is fully blind in the right, the vet didn't want to remove it as it causes no pain. We have her the winter of to adjust. We have been slowly working with her, but life keeps getting in the way. She needs someone familiar with horses who are blind or partially blind and someone who can work consistently with her. She an absolutely sweet girl and moves beautiful. She is a deal for someone who has the time for her. I'd be happy to she more about Thea and her story. A absolute perfect home is a must and she won't leave unless I find a great match.
