"Rix", as we call him in the barn, is a people-loving horse who always greets you at the gate. He has be restarted under saddle with a dressage foundation and has also been started over fences. He is very consistent, quiet, and truly aims to please. While he is still a bit green, he is very willing and learns quickly. He has not presented any bad behavior or spookiness, but I feel he would be best suited for a confident intermediate to advanced rider who will continue to bring him along. Rix is well behaved when hauling off the property and is happy to go out on trails by himself or with company. Generally, he lives out 24/7 and is at the bottom of the pecking order. He does come in to eat and in bad weather and has been very content in his stall. He is UTD on vaccines, shoeing, worming, and teeth floating and has been great for all of this work. He has two small scars on his right hind hind leg from a starting gate incident at the track; however, he is sound and photos are available upon request. A good home is a must and PPEs are always welcome.
