Banner is an exceptionally good natured and chill minded young gelding who has been in training all since July.
His sire is a versatile horse, with a lot of success in Ranch Rodeo and Roping events. His dam was a gentle foundation bred mare.
Banner was raised in a home where he was only ever handled correctly, and learned to be a respectful citizen from day one.
Banner is bred and also has the mind to be a strong versatility type horse, from Ranch, Trails, Roping, to Cowhorse and Obstacle Challenges.
He is a pleasure to be around with his friendly and curious mind and easy to have in the barn or pasture and around other horses. He ties quietly, is good with bathing, and handles nicely to trim his feet. Under saddle, he’s smooth, has great movement and laid back with a great personality for an amateur person. More whoa than go, and not over sensitive. His lope is very much a rocking chair type lope that will win in the ranch, and he has a very slow jog as well as a great extended trot.
We are preparing him for Ranch Versatility, plus he has been getting training on the trail and obstacles as well, and additionally has been introduced to live cattle this fall and have been practicing roping a dummy.
