Cheyenne is a breathtaking 8 y/o 15.2hh APHA Sorrel Overo mare with one beautiful blue eye and one brown eye. Cheyenne is up to date on teeth floating, vaccinations and hoof trimming. Cheyenne would do best with an active rider, being worked 4-5 times a week. The more time off she has, the more opinionated she gets, though she does not buck/bolt/etc. Cheyenne is for sale to the best suited home only - I will be extremely picky about where she goes next. Pros: Cheyenne is easy to catch, ties, grooms, bathes, clips, loads & blankets. Cheyenne has a great walk/trot/lope & halt. She is not spooky and is fairly brave. Cheyenne has been on miles of trails, has been introduced to cow sorting and even carried a flag in the local rodeo this September. Cheyenne is fabulous on riding off your legs and seat, however, prefers no contact on her face/mouth - so collection is hard for her at this time. Cons: Cheyenne is not great with her hind feet and gets very nervous/opinionated. She is known to be fussy and will halfheartedly kick out when being trimmed. Cheyenne is well bred and does come with her APHA papers, however, she does have 1 copy of the newly investigated MYHM (UC Davis disease panel test report included in this post) so would not be an ideal broodmare prospect. Cheyenne will test new riders and is extremely respectful if you prove that you are her leader. She is the epitome of a RedChestnutMare.
