Clover is extremely soft, willing, and intelligent. She’s a joy to ride with the best uphill floating canter. She’s an equal balance of forward/kick ride and is very responsive to all cues including leg and lateral movement. She has been lightly started over fences and is a confident/willing mount. She’s very aware of her feet and stays calm and steady coming in and out of each jump. Everyone says she looks like she’s having so much fun and I really do believe she’s her best self when working. I’ve never had a horse progress as quickly as she has and believe her potential is unmatched. She’s got a wonderful mind but is not a horse that can sit for multiple days with no work (as most baby thoroughbreds aren’t). She can get hot when she has pent up energy so a turnout or a quick lunging session has been my friend. As long as she’s worked 4-5 days a week she’s the same solid horse every time and I believe with age and maturity she’ll continue to simmer down.

Due to her high energy I’m not sure she’d be a good fit for a younger child. She really needs a confident, assertive rider with experience in channeling energy into productive work and someone who has the time or money to keep her in a consistent routine.
