Smokey is an 8 year old grade gelding finished on the barrel pattern and pole pattern. He has been break away roped off of as well as heading. He has also been used as a goat tying horse. We have shot off of him and it didn't phase him at all so I'm sure with a little practice he would be a jam up shooting horse. Smokey is the perfect beer drinking buddy, goes wherever you point him. He will cross water, logs, been thru some pretty rocky terrain. He will ride alone or in a group. Smokey has also been rode English and taken over jumps and would make a very nice hunter or dressage prospect. Smokey is fancy broke, has a big stop, works off leg pressure, will ride in halter, bridle or rope around his neck. Anyone can ride him on the farm, but to compete he would need an intermediate rider. Nothing dangerous, he just knows his job and needs a confident rider.
