Lanoiton (Louis)
Louis is 11 year old, 17h, OTTB. He raced 13 times in two years, win once. Came off the track in 2017. Sat for a few years and was only doing light riding till June.
He is still green but is a fast learner. He lunges in side reins w/t/c. Rides w/t/c on the bit, leg-yields at trot and canter. Jumps courses at 2’3” to 2’6” free jumped 3’9”, and has been schooled xc at 2’ to 2’3”. Crosses water, has been trail ridden and ponied on the trails. Louis is also started on the barrel pattern and enjoys it. Working on his pocketing and lead changes.
Cross ties, stands for vet, grooming and tacking up. He is still working on standing for farrier. Louis is a hot horse but he is ridden is a snaffle just needs an intermediate level rider. He has been used for intermediate lessons and has done good with them. He does roar. He come to me with it and he has gotten better with conditioning. It has never affected his work.
Louis would make a great eventer, jumper, barrel racer, dressage, or an all-round horse.
