Meet Bocephus! he is looking for a new home before cold weather sets in. “Bo” is a 7 year old grade black/white Fox Trotter gelding who stands 14hh, is current on coggins, vaccinations, & wormer. He is an easy keeper (stays fat on air), stands for shoes, rides with dogs, carries saddle bags, bathes, loads, crosses ditches, crosses water and will go in deep water, carry your machete to trim limbs, Bo will go in any direction. Currently has a set of front shoes on, we have never had shoes on his back as we just keep him trimmed up, he has never been sore on any kind of terrain we’ve rode him on and he’s been some places! Bo has been rode all over Missouri and has also been rode in Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas and in Colorado (Pagosa Springs area). This little guy can go all day! Bo has been tied over night in camp as well as being stalled. Pretty much anyone can ride Bo, this does not mean we are selling him as a kid broke horse but fairly inexperienced riders have taken Bo out on the trail. Bo has been apart of this family since 2020 and purchased for my mom who has hip trouble and frankly Bo is just too wide for her to sit for a long period of time, my step dad has been the one to ride him the most and it is of no fault of his own, he’s just not my step dad’s style has he prefers something a little taller. One of his bad habits is he likes to throw his head a little and sometimes we ride him with a loose tie-down (the pressure reminds him that it’s not allowed) but we do not always ride him in one, the only other bad habit is that he does get buddy sour and doesn’t always like to leave the group but will if he is made to. Have trail riding videos of him out in Arkansas as well. Please call (prefer not to text) Andrew Bax if you have any more questions @ five7three2nine1three9zero5
