Sundae is just as sweet as her namesake. She truly is a doll to be around and to ride. Sundae is a pleaser in every way and loves her pets... leans in to be groomed and cleaned. She stands perfectly to be saddled and have her feet picked. She is a nice size at about 14.1 hands and a nice age at 8... easy to get on and off. She has nice feet and was rode barefoot in the video. She will sidepass to pick her rider up. She handles tarps, balls, and other tools without issue. On the trail, Sundae prefers to walk or gait. Her gait is smooth and comes naturally. She will trot or canter when asked. She crosses bridges, dead fall, railroad tracks, water. We haven't found any spook... she is fearless around bicyclists, traffic, strollers, dogs, and wildlife. She rides out alone or in a group. Sundae had been off for a few years and produced two beautiful foals. She took back to riding without any fuss. We have trail ridden her in the mountains, in town and on the prairie. She has helped us move cows. She is started on roping and will drag logs and tires. Whatever task is in store, Sundae has been willing and so much fun to have around. She is good for the vet and farrier. She trailers well, loads easily and backs out. She does well out on pasture or in a pen. She's been in a mixed herd of geldings, mares, weanlings, yearlings, and mules, and she has been in the middle of the pecking order. We have not found her to act "marish" at all.
