Patriot is a beautiful, grade paint gelding around the age of 12. Looking for a new barn to call his due to no fault of his own. Since hes been here, we've done extensive trail riding on him, a friend's daughter used him on the barrels and poles for fun and he did pretty well. We took him to the National championship chuck wagon races in Clinton AR this year and he rode all week with no issues. Hes a sturdy horse, measured in at 15.2 hands high. Very high withered. His feet are currently shod, he had his teeth done when he got here, and hes been wormed consistently. Current coggins. Vet checks are welcomed at your expense. Guaranteed sound.

Patriot does neck rein and he has a very nice stop to him. He is super good on the ground for the farrier, the vet, for fly spray, saddling, fly sheet or boots, he has great ground manners overall. Patriot can be buddy sour if left alone for weeks on end. Pull him out and ride him once a week and hes fine. This guys never offered to buck or rear with us. I would not recommend a beginner because he will take your kid back to the barn and just stand there. Our friends 16 yr old has no issues with him and can make him do absolutely anything but shes also been riding her entire life. Other than the being buddy and barn sour, hes ready to go whenever. He also attracts flys like crazy. He has some scabs around his manhood area that are left over from the summer pests we had out here, just want you to be aware of it. Loads up like a dream and enjoys the traveling to different places. We had thought about training him and a look-alike we have for big horse rubber tire racing but decided we wouldn't have an out riding horse that could catch them. Lol so no point.
Hes a good ole loving boy who needs a soft place to land. He absolutely loves attention and let me tell ya, he can eat! He was about 260 lbs under weight when we bought him so he looks pretty darn good for the short time hes been here. I have plenty of videos that I'll be uploading to YouTube to share.
