Completely sound, TRAIL HORSE DELUXE, Easy to catch and load, ridden on trails and overnight camped all over Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri. Crosses rivers, walks over large logs, over bridges. He has no spook. Been shown at the Iowa State Fair. Stands quietly for farrier and has never pulled back. I’m 59 and can easily get on him. He really gets noticed on the trail. Has the sweet personality of a friesian. He was used in a barn as a lesson horse and for Girl Scout camps before I owned him. He has pulled a cart. His only vice is some cribbing if he’s kept in a stall for long periods of time. I had him on pasture and round bales in the winter. Beginners can ride him at home and in the arena. I would recommend an intermediate rider on the trail. He will go the speed of the horses he is riding with, fast or slow. I walk, trot, and lope on the trails with him. Current on vaccinations, teeth, and Coggins. Has a small scar on hind pastern.
