"Sham" is a beautiful young gelding with a huge personality. This horse could be finished in any direction. I believe he would be amazing as a youth or kids event/show or pleasure horse. His breed is famously slow to grow so he is still growing but should finish out a great average/smaller size to be adult or kids horse. Sham was started in professional training as a two year old and then left to grow another year then another month professional training, started lightly under saddle as a three year old. Afterthat he was still rather small and developing his legs so he was worked mainly ground work and exposure. he has been ridden but he is not finished (light riding and ponied with children in saddle). He is just now ready to be finished in any direction and have some hours put on him. Sham is very difficult to spook. He is an incredibly fast learner. lots of spunk and intelligence. Trailers, stalls, ties, feet, bath, kids, dogs, etc. Sham is slender and sleek (per his breeding) and has an almost arab look to him in confirmation and movement. He did not get the famous appaloosa markings but has the temperament and movement of the appaloosa horse. I purchased Sham to be a pasture companion to my mare and a prospect kids horse for my kids, kids arent interested so I would like to purchase another draft horse and have no need for him. Im looking to send him on to a home or trainer that wants to make something out of him! he has been held at a standard and done some growing into himself. INstead of sending to trainer i would like to make him available as a template for someone to finish how they want as he has such a huge range of capacity. .
