Boon is a 6 year old blue roan AQHA gelding who is very kind and gentle. He stands 15.1hh. He has been ridden in the Black Hills as well as in Arizona trail riding extensively and been in the arena as well. He has gas to go all day and loves that cowboy trot. He has been started out of the roping box, tracked cattle and roped the dummy. He has been to and competed in small ranch sort shows and practices. He’ll pony other horses and pack what ever you need. Has really good ground manners, we do most things without a halter (blanketing, dewormer paste etc.) but does do better with at least an intermediate rider. He does awesome gathering cattle and would be a great ranch partner. Boon spent 30 days at the end of summer on a ranch with a cutting trainer for a tune up.
