Rosie is a 10-year-old OTTB mare with a professional restart who has been out of work for a year due to owner injury. She is kind, sensible, willing, and a quick learner. She is also one of the most naturally-gifted athletes I have ever had the pleasure to own! This mare needs to be a jumper or event horse!

Rosie requires a soft ride, and would be best suited with a quiet, confident rider who has the time and dedication to keep Rosie in regular work. An older teen would be fine. I am offering her as a "project" with an extended trial period right now since she has not been in work for a while, and I want to be sure she ends up with someone who appreciates her as she deserves. If she does not find a placement this winter, she will start professional training for jumping in the spring.

Rosie retired sound from racing (under a different name) and has since had her hocks x-rayed with no signs of career-limiting changes. If you are an ambitious rider on a budget, I urge you to seriously consider this special mare. Pictures are recent. Lease possibly considered.
