I originally purchased this Pony, but I ended up bringing his sister home as well. I do want to keep one Pony, but I am not particularly attached to either one of the two. With that being said, whoever gets sold, first will find their new home, and the other will stay home with me. Alternatively, both ponies can go to the same home. The only reason why I would like both go is so they can stay together because they seem pretty bonded. However, I am happy to keep one for my own child. Leaf is currently on a weight gain diet. He got really anxious over the past few months due to some changes that were happening on the farm. He needs to put on about 75 pounds and just started his new weight gain diet on November 1. He’s been used as a kids less than Pony. He can be a little bit pushy with new people, so you just have to show him that you mean business, and he will respect you. I only have one pony saddle, so which ever horse is purchased they can offer to buy the saddle. This gelding comes with a brand new winter coat, which I do plan to keep on him while he’s getting his weight back. He also comes with a raincoat and a bit and bridle. That is his only known health issue. Wormed 10/23/2023 Vet exam 10/31/23 Dental float 10/31/23 and good for two years Ferrier trim 11/01/23 Vaccines 10/03/23 He would be easier to train to pull a cart. Kids can still get on him while he is under weight but that encouraged weight gain before anymore riding takes place. Does fine ponying on trails with other horses, great under saddle with kids, does great on the lead rope with kids on their back.. super fun horse, and very easy to work with. Two blue eyes, same owner since birth until I got him a few days ago. Leaf needs more practice learning to stand tired patiently because he stops his feet and gets pretty upset if he’s tied for more than a couple of minutes. Other than that he has no vices. He does fine with his feet, which are in excellent shape and condition. Never has foundered or laminitis hasn’t been on grass very much mostly kept in dry lot area. Minimal hand grazing on grass. In your pocket pony, but when you want him to keep his space, just show him what you want and he will respect that. He is a hard keeper because of his weight and temporary anxiety. I suspect once he gets settled and he will be back to normal and easy to keep weight on but he doesn’t seem hungry during this transition so we are getting him on a appetite stimulant
