Skye’s Blue Thunder is a well built gelding standing around 14.1-14,2hh, he is coming 8 years old and is a beautiful blue roan that is registered with the International Draft and Sporthorse Registry. Thunder has been a hard working family horse! He has been ridden by every member of the family from 4 years old all the way up to dad. He has been ridden down the highways and is very traffic safe. Thunder has been used around a feedlot as well where he has sorted and penned cattle. He is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! Thunder has been ridden by all ages and is safe for any level of rider. He is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Thunder is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. Thunder is the perfect size, great mind and plenty of experience so he will be a great addition to any family!!!
