17-year-old 15.3 H registered appaloosa gelding. Used most recently as a trail horse. Very fun and forward with a big, brave personality. Pepper is a sweet and silly boy who craves attention. He will cross bridges, rivers and is happiest in the lead. Used by previous owners in 4-H and Pony Club/eventing. Training in dressage, cross-country and stadium jumping and goes western. He is sensitive to aids and a beautiful canter depart and flying changes. Not a beginner horse as he is smart and will test you but, would be great for someone looking to move up who is confident and working with a trainer. Very respectful ground manners as my non-horseman husband has been comfortable leading and caring for him. Stands for the farrier. He has nice feet and never any lameness though he needs front pads. He can have occasional loading issues when there is a lot of activity and movement of other horses around when loading. Just had teeth floated. UTD and healthy. Sadly, my health issues during the past year have not allowed me to keep Pepper as active as he needs to be. An approved home is a must.
